Great item at a great price October 16, 2008
This is perfect. I haven't really gotten a chance to test it out on a soaking wet area of ground yet, but it's been in heavy use since we got it (bought two actually - one for our van, the other for our bike for stops and picnics). It's a good compact size, but still ample for 2-3 adults or 4-5 children. Folding it is a bit worse than folding a map to get it so that the handles will match up, but big deal. Fleece top seems a bit thin, but then helps with cleaning it and drying if it gets wet.

This product is a great picnic blanket for any picnic outing. I went to the beach with it and it worked great! Folds up to a very convenient size and was very pleased with this purchase.

This blanket seems to be well-made, and it's nice that you can fold it up and velcro it closed. The waterproof side is indeed waterproof, and the other side is very soft and cozy. However, when it came I realized it is quite a bit smaller than I'd expected. I guess I should have gotten out the tape measure and measured out just how big it was before I ordered it. It's fine for one person, or maybe two children, but is definitely not a family picnic blanket.

Perfect for use on our bed with an incontinent dog. Easy to wash and dry. Keeps me from changing the sheets every day.
