valuable companion for a road trip June 30, 2007 Quite handy companion and map information up to date. However, bigger size would have really made a difference. Smaller size is easier carry but convenience viewing is compromised.
hard to read May 9, 2007 map is very hard to read and not categorized very well. I was very disappointed with this purchase.
The best atlas for driving in Europe January 2, 2007 7 out of 8 found this review helpful
Hello, Please do not listen to the negative review that proceeded this one. I have this atlas and have used it 2x to navigate my way around Europe by car (6,000+ miles total). This atlas is great for "detailed" maps (ie small villages, etc. I also use the AAA Road Atlas of Europe for the "big picture" and general route planning. This Frommer Atlas is perfect for when you get off the main highways and want to explore Europe's backroads. If you plan on driving in Europe, this atlas is essential!
Waste of Money December 13, 2006 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is not an atlas for an American seeking to navigate the streets of Europe. It is difficult to identify which country you are viewing, much less identify streets once you come to a specific country. The key and index are worthless. I would have given it 0 stars if that was an option. I threw mine away.
