Great for the Beginning Outdoorsman June 9, 2000
This is one of the best and most informative consumer guides to outdoor gear. It has a very pleasant and easy to read format. I find it fun to read. Kevin Jeffery is thorough and covers everything. His information is concise and up-to-date with all the recent materials that are available. It is a great book for those who are just starting out and want to learn the terminology and know what to look for.
