Book Description
A lighthearted look at more than 300 of the world's most important inventions, this fascinating book begins with six key inventions and explores the people who created them, the mechanics that make them work, and the ideas and innovations that inspired them. this made a very nice gift for our very inquisitive nephew. my wife and i especially liked the fact that his mom can read it to him now, but it's so full of information that he'll go back to read it as he grows up.

I'm using this fabulous book in my 4th grade classroom to kick off a study of inventors. What a great book to hook students into inventions! The fold-out pages are a hit. The book has been picked up by students each day it has been on display in my classroom. This is a good one!
