Book Description While life as a big league baseball player has brought Andy Pettitte fame and accolades, it has also brought with it temptation. However, Andy learned to deal with temptation long before he donned his first major league uniform. While still a teenager, Andy committed himself to Christ and a life of purity. With his target identified early on, he has been able to hit the strikezone throughout his life. Andy and author Bob Reccord encourage TruthQuest boys to commit now to a life of purity and integrity, not only in sex but in action, thought, and motive.

Purity & Integrity & Using Steroids December 18, 2007 3 out of 5 found this review helpful
The nerve of Andy Pettitte writing a book about "Integrity & Purity". Pettitte has just admitted to using HGH on at least two occasions. How pure were those steroids, Andy? Worse yet, he still has failed to admit that what he did was wrong - "If what I did was an error in judgment on my part, I apologize." If??? I hope that no one is foolish enough to purchase this book and reward him for his cheating and lies.
Book for all young men September 23, 2007 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
I think this is a good book for baseball loving teenagers and young men. Great life lessons with experiences and struggles of Andy Petitte. Great daily devotional type reading that should touch many lives. I Highly recommended this book but would add that I liked the parts written by Petitte more so than the parts by Bob Reccord. Guess I just a baseball fan.

Great book for the price. I used as Christmas gifts for a boys Sunday School class, and they all seemed pleased with the book.
