Product Description Christian Martial Arts 101 is intended for Christian martial artists and any Christ-centered martial arts program in need of a spiritual curriculum to complement physical training. This book can also be used as a personal devotional for Christian students attending non-religious martial arts schools. It establishes and explains the major principles of Christian martial arts and includes 101 Bible lessons/devotions for use in the classroom and at home.
In terms of doctrine, Christian Martial Arts 101 establishes Jesus Christ as Master and the Bible as the Code for training. It contains 101 Bible lessons divided into nine of thirteen chapters. Each lesson ends with a principle and two or more codes. The principle sums up the teachings. The codes are the scripture sources for the teachings and should be looked up in the Bible after reading the lesson. Christian Martial Arts 101 is written from a charismatic perspective and assumes that the reader accepts that Jesus is Lord of all.
Finally, this book comes in two separate editions: a regular edition (ISBN 0-9721328-1-3) and an instructors edition (ISBN 0-9721328-2-1). The regular edition is written for Christian martial artists who are over ten years of age. The instructors edition is identical to the regular edition, but incl-udes added resources that instructors can use in designing a class format/curriculum and developing Bible lessons for children under the age of ten.

Excellent book! It is a must-have for every Christian martial artist and instructor. Wendy Williamson has done a wonderful job of explaining what it means to be a Christian martial artist. Her 101 lessons for students is a great help to busy instructors. Wendy has done the work for us! Her experience as an educator and martial arts instructor comes together in a marvelous understanding of what and how to teach the important aspects of spirituality and martial arts science. I highly recommend this book!
