Customer Reviews:

2 out of 5 stars Somewhat limited   November 18, 2007
I purchased the book while looking for a 'basics' book that could be shared with newer players, to provide a fundamental understanding of the principles of game. Perhaps, I expected too much. This book devotes 32 pages to 'softball biographies' and only 18 to 'playing softball'. Yes, it adds 12 pages devoted to 'getting started', but allocates 8 more to 'ASA programs' and 15 more to 'softball and the Olympics'. I enjoyed reading it myself, but it doesn't have a great deal of substance about the game,
