5 out of 5 stars Great book if you really want to improve your dog's jumps   July 13, 2008
I borrowed this book for a week and now really want it for my library. I must say upfront that I'm just starting to get into the agility and obedience comp world so I don't know how much use it would be for those already heavily into it.

However, this book goes step by step, teaching your dog to jump perfectly from the beginning. It seems like if you were to do everything in this book there would be no reason why your dog would drop bars, etc. It may seem like a pain in the butt to do everything, but I think it would be worth it to not have to untrain poor jump behaviors later.

5 out of 5 stars Excellent Book to Help Your Com"pet"itive Dog   May 16, 1999

Well constructed guide with the physics of the leaping dog and exercises to help the handler/trainer setup a method to improve the team's techniques. A must for Canine Agility.
