This product is very helpful for me. I can use this book while attending the AIC career institute.
 Does not run from PC (only with CD): this is nonsense August 5, 2008
Taber's dictionary (CD-ROM) does not run from your PC, you must insert the CD-ROM. In addition, the support email address does not answer your questions.
Not recommendable.
Great medical reference book July 3, 2008
I used one of these at my job and liked it so well that I bought one for myself when I retired. It will answer pretty much any question you have about ailments, treatments, etc.

This is a nice little encyclopedia. It came in handy many times during nursing classes when I was not quite sure about all of the different medical terms and diseases. I would recommend it if you are going into a medical field and would like a nice reference to refer to every once in a while.

While this book is very informative, I've looked up some medical words only to find them not listed. Out of say 99 words looked up, I maybe could not find 4. Not bad.
