The book with the pictures! April 28, 2008 As other reviewers have mentioned, later printings from Penguin omit the color graphics and pictures. The book is also printed in India in English with all the photos and illustrations as contained in the original edition from Avery Pub. It is available direct from the co-author, Dr. Donald Verner Bodeen. Dr. Bernerd Jensen is now deceased. Inquires/Purchase call 801-440-7885/845-473-3276
Get the Avery published edition, not the Penguin copy Amazon sells November 21, 2006 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I am not sure if it was an honest error or Amazon purchased several misprinted copies of this book reprinted by Penguin. The copy I received from Amazon was not only damaged (I've asked for a replacement), but the book itself is incomplete and printed on poor newsprint quality paper so that all of the iridology charts and images are so blurry as to be completely useless. Also, the Amazon description says it is the Avery copy, but I was sent this misprinted Penguin version instead. The original book, with the same ISBN and printed by Avery Publishing is on pristine white thick paper and has 16 pages of color iris photos nestled between pages 98 and 99 of the book. It also has five appendices with beautiful black and white clear pictures of stages of miasma, etc. and multiple iridology charts. The Penguin copy even refers to these pages on the back cover, but then failed to print them with the book (duh). Make sure you get an Avery copy which is an excellent iridology reference.
Good Introduction to Iridology November 6, 2006 A Good introduction to Iridology which leaves you wanting to go a bit more indepth and read further into the subject.

pictures are missing March 25, 2004 25 out of 26 found this review helpful
After e-mails and phone calls, etc., I finally found out that the publisher (Avery) does not publish the pictures that go in this book anymore. When the author discusses a topic and asks the reader to "see figure 3.9", there is no "figure 3.9" It is extremely frustrating.I like the book, but don't buy it from this publisher or you will not receive the entire book as it was intended and you won't know what is being discussed.
