| Customer Reviews:
Brilliant February 25, 2003 This is a great book. I spent two years bumming in Steamboat and this book brings back many happy memories. It goes into great detail about the founders and development of the ski area in the 60's. Local legends are profiled and sidebars include photos and stories about cowboys and ski bums. The photos are breathtaking and the writing is evocative and reverential. The book seems to focus on the 60's-80's era of development, but if you're looking for an enjoyable reminder of your visit to the Boat, this book is well worth it and will look great on your coffee table.
