5 out of 5 stars Very Helpful!   November 11, 2008
Very Nice reference, great to have all that information in one book. Has very easy to locate information in table format.

5 out of 5 stars A "must-have" for anyone seriously pursuing or engaged in the field of veterinary medicine for dogs and cats.   September 4, 2008
Now in a fully revised and updated second edition, Veterinary Technician's Daily Reference Guide: Canine and Feline is an in-depth reference for veterinary technicians in practice or training. Spiral-bound to lay flat for easy reference, Veterinary Technician's Daily Reference Guide: Cats and Dogs covers all aspects of a technician's responsibility when looking after dogs and cats, from simple physical examination to specific nursing and technical procedures. Information is cross-referenced with chapter tabs for ease of quickly looking up critical matters. Almost 200 images (more than 100 of them new) illustrate this solid resource, assembled by two experts each with an associate degree in veterinary technology. A "must-have" for anyone seriously pursuing or engaged in the field of veterinary medicine for dogs and cats.

5 out of 5 stars Best book ever!   March 18, 2008
I recently had to buy this book again because I lost my first copy (my coworkers probably stole it, it's that good! [j/k]). But I love this book. It's an excellent reference manual, love the format (charts make it easy to compare (e.g., symptoms of distemper and parvo)), nice organization, love the color plates...really, nothing bad at all about it! And for the low price, it's worth it a thousand times over. Buy this book!

1 out of 5 stars Very Disappointed - Returned the Book   October 12, 2007
This book was created by two veterinary technicians who graduated in 1998 and published the book in 2000. It shows they have lack of understanding on many topics. The book is difficult to use and the charts are very cumbersome. For the lay person, I can see how this book may be useful, but for a licensed veterinary technician some of the information is out dated and very opinionated. It was not carefully thought out. RETURN IT WHILE YOU CAN!

4 out of 5 stars Good solid reference   June 18, 2007
Nice reference book to have close by your side. It hits all the important stuff and leaves out the fluff.
