Well, no, NBA cheerleaders are dancers and they are skilled primarily in technical dance. Traditional cheerleaders are skilled in tumbling, stunting, jumping and motion technique!

Now I haven't read this book personally, but my daughter absolutely devoured it. You'd think this was the latest Harry Potter book or something. All I can say is if this book gets every young girl (or boy too I suppose) as excited about reading and cheering as it did my daughter, then this should be recommended reading for preteens and teens alike.

Wow,what an awesome book. Cheerleading HS to the NBA gives us as readers who are clueless about the book a litle bit of everything. From history to personal experience, this is right up there with yes, I said it, the Morrison book collection. Definitely treat yourself to this treasure.
