Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Reflections on a year spent living in the dojo of an Aikido and Japanese Jujutsu master. Leaving Alaska for the adventures of Northern California, the author recounts the trials of everyday training, the differences between Aikido and Aikijujutsu, his first exposures to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, the Ultimate Fighting Championship, and addresses the underlying question of what all this warrior training is for. A must read for martial artists and those on the path of self discovery.

A fun read about the journey from boy to man. Has plenty of humor with a good leaving of serious info about the myths and stereotypes of martial arts. Excellent book for those who are thinking about getting into martial arts. For more info on author check out Roy Dean Academy.com on the net.
