If you liked this book, you MUST read this interview July 24, 2008 I found this incredible interview regarding how the game of Golf has changed over the years. It focuses on how modern golf courses have become much easier than they were meant to be. You wouldn't believe the evolution! If you have any interest in the history of Golf, this is a must read. If you want to become even more knowledgeable on the subject, scroll to the bottom of the interview and get in touch with the author. After reading, I guarantee you will be able to lead the most interesting discussions and impress your friends!

A fellow golf course architect makes comments. November 9, 2004 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Mike Hurdzan's Golf Greens is not an easy read straight through from cover to cover because it is highly technical. But I did it and I'm glad. It searches the subject in far greater depth of detail and pictorially than anyone has ever done before. Great coverage! And it doesn't always simply "sell the conventional line". I learned lots from it, though before thought I was already pretty well experienced in this important matter. I recommend this book to all golf course developers, contractors, maintenance superintendents and other golf course architects for learning much more about golf greens.
