Disappointed August 25, 2007 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I was really disappointed with this product and returned it - I expected something more professional - this was more self-published than I expected. I also thought it would be sturdier but it's bound more like a report with flexible laminate rather than book board. I realize some people might prefer this but my daughter needs a solid surface to write on. The b/w pages seem like they're xeroxed - not sloppy, but more like a Kinko's job. Based on the belly band, I was expecting something more like a Chronicle Books journal. The illustrations were charming (color would have been nice) but the content wasn't organized in a way that worked for us.
Perfect travel journal for young kids March 27, 2001 14 out of 14 found this review helpful
My daughter is delighted with this journal. It prompts a child to write about things they may not have thought about. It contains a lot of the same information that adult travel journals contain (e.g. record of expenses), but in a kid-friendly format with illustrations. I think it will be a great thing for keeping my daughter busy on the plane ride.
