Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
The diligent hunter, who finds his buck and learns its territory and habits before hunting season opens, has a huge advantage over other hunters. This helpful resource is filled with detailed illustrations, charts, maps, and hundreds of color photos to show you how to outwit wary bucks.

The main difference between this book and others, is that Advanced Whitetail Hunting contains secrets from some of North America's most successful trophy buck hunters. If you're tired of average deer and want to set your sights on a record-book buck -- this book is for you.

Learn how to eliminate human odors that give you away. Find out what special areas you can hunt that most casual hunters will avoid, leaving the big deer for you. See how to lure a mature deer with rattling, calling and decoying.

The photos and illustrations show you the techniques that will take your hunting to the next level.

Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Great Book on Whitetails   May 14, 2007
This book is a really good "how to" book on hunting Whitetails. My only complaint is that sometimes I would have liked longer explainations on the tactics. This book tells you what to do, I would have liked a little more on why you should do it. Again, this is just a minor thing, overall the book was great and very informative.

4 out of 5 stars A Very Good Book On Whitetails   March 26, 2000

This book is a very helpful resource for hunters. This book helped me bag my first whitetail!

5 out of 5 stars A lot of good information - even for the novice hunter   September 3, 1998

In spite of being a beginning hunter, I found this book to be a good resource. Many illustrations, and discussion on basic technique. (Of course, a major focus of the book is how to bag that trophy buck, so most discussions tend in that direction.) I've found there are two types of hunting books, stories and "how to do it". This book is in the latter category and is what I was looking for. How to: Still hunt, stand hunt, track in the snow, reduce scent, scout, etc. I first checked it out from our library, and now I'm getting a copy for my own.
