Art in metal at it's very best. March 18, 2008 To me, this is probably the very best photographic examples of work from just a few of the finest artisans in the World of gun makers and engravers. Having an extensive library of my own, which I feel is now almost complete and after 55 years of intensive gun smithing and gun fitting around the World, I am almost ready to take a back seat and enjoy the fruits of my labours. Hence I have just started my last adult apprentice, who will no doubt benefit from this book, if not the entire collection.

This is how a good book on shotguns and rifles should be written and edited. Great discriptions on the mentioned guns and on the history of the manufacturers, even greater pictures. At the end there is helpful information on how to contact the different firms. Truly a great book.
