4 out of 5 stars A great resource   April 4, 2008
I read this book and keep refering to it for years till I handed to my Dad (a new rider at 55) to help him understand motorcycle riding a bit more.

5 out of 5 stars More Proficient Motorcycling: Mastering the Ride by David L. Hough   January 9, 2008
If you're too stupid to take the MSF course or equivalent, this is the next best thing. If you've already taken the course, this book fills in a lot of the cracks. Easy to read, and it willl save your life!

3 out of 5 stars improve riding skills   October 25, 2007
This is a great book for improving your riding skills such as braking, riding and turning at slow speeds, and handling road curves.

5 out of 5 stars More Proficient Motorcycling - Mastering the Ride   October 5, 2007
The Book is Great, However the pages are coming unglued and falling out, individually. Very bad book binding process, must contact Bowtie for concerning issues.

5 out of 5 stars A"Must Have"   September 2, 2007

Dave Hough is the closest thing to a guru that I have. I ride constantly; I am a true "biker." although I don't fit the image at all. I commute on my bike; I run errands on my bike; I travel on my bike; I vacation on my bike. Dave's three books have saved me, literally, more than once from making errors that would have proven serious or fatal. Beyond that, his books have been instructive, distilling the wisdom of countless years of safe motorcycling into complete volumes like this one. Why learn the hard way, re-invent the wheel? If you ride, it's all here. Get it.
