Every racer should have a training log September 22, 2005 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Regardless of how you keep it, electronically or on paper, it's essential to have a training diary if you are serious about training and racing optimally. Joe Friel's log is well organized and contains enough space to include all the information you should be recording. For those who are unable to have a coach and must essentially self-coach, it is a great companion to his Cyclists Training Bible, which I also recommend.
An effective tool for better fitness! June 13, 2000 4 out of 6 found this review helpful
This log allows for the training cyclist to advance their fitness through tracking the progress that they are making. This is a must for the serious racer who can't keep going with a day to day training schedule.
1 year training diary to track your training... July 9, 1996 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
I won this training diary as a preme at a local bike race.It is organized into 52 one week sections. There is room for you to enter Hours slept, weight, diet, resting and standing pulse rates, route, daily mileage, time on bike, and other misc. notes. At the back there is a check list of all the things you should bring to your races. I found this very usefull because many times I forget to bring items to a race. I guess if you use it regulary, it will help you organize and improve your training because you can see what you did right and wrong.
