5 out of 5 stars Book description   September 1, 2007
An amazing record of the smallest yacht ever to circumnavigate the world. Ex-Marine Commando, Shane Acton, set off from Cambridge in his 18 foot yacht 'Super Shrimp', bought second-hand for 400, little thinking that the next eight years would find him sailing around the world. During his hazardous 30,000 mile voyage he was shipwrecked, menaced by sharks, endured tempests, and even found buried treasure. In Panama, he met a beautiful Swiss girl, Iris Derungs, who became his companion and shared the joys and problems of much of this voyage.

Complete and unabridged Ulverscroft Large Print edition.
