Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Now in its third edition, Northwest Shore Dives is a detailed guide book for scuba diving in the Pacific Northwest. Revised and enlarged, this third edition is written as a dive planning tool, with special attention given to dive planning with predicted currents. It contains descriptions for 55 dive sites, all with shore access, located throughout the greater Puget Sound area. Areas covered include Puget Sound, Hood Canal, the Strait of Juan de Fuca, Rosario Strait, San Juan Island, Orcas Island and Lopez Island. Dive site descriptions contain bottom depths, suggested skill levels, current patterns, correction factors for estimating times of slack current, driving directions, site facilities and suggested non-diver activities. Readers are also introduced to a marine animal for each dive site.
