Gone Paddlin' May 15, 2006 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
An absolutely superb resource for paddling in southern Wisconsin. So many rivers and lakes and so little time - this book helps you figure out where to spend that rare resource - your time on the water.
Contains a Wealth of Information March 22, 2005 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I was happily surprised at the amount of information in this book. I was particularly looking for information on kayaking Wisconsin rivers that have few rapids. (recreational family touring)This book contained excellent maps, information on where to enter and exit rivers, areas that may need to be portaged, what types of rapids you will encounter (all the different classes of rapids), what you will see, etc. I am very happy with this book. I also purchased PADDLING NORTHERN WISCONSIN: 82 GREAT TRIPS BY CANOE AND KAYAK.
