Great Book!! September 2, 2008 This book has seventy-nine "quickie" mysteries, filled with very tricky clues. Answers are given if you need them. You spot the clues and match wits with the famous detective Dr. Haledjian then solve the mystery. Ready, Watson?
Great for kids and adults alike January 18, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We bought this book for our eleven year old son. We have seen him with the book in hand more often than we'd imagined. It's currently taken up residence in the car, and our son keeps us all entertained as we travel. The mysteries are a challenge for someone his age, but not too difficult.

mysteries September 25, 2007 difficult mysteries for students to solve, definitely for middle school students, many times the stories need to be read over multiple times in order to find the solution old fashioned stories as well - some need language explained, check over stories prior to reading or sharing with class

This first book whets my students' appetites for writing mysteries, esp. when they realize the story does not have to be long. Very useful in class
