FUNCTIONAL & INFORMATIVE August 17, 2008 As a Fodor's fan there's nothing negative I can say about this book, probably the 30th Fodor's guide I've purchased. It is always my first choice and although I've tried other guides I always come back to Fodor's.
Lots of info/hard to find August 3, 2008 I found this book had a ton of information on things to do, but was very hard to navigate. There were not enough maps, the sections were oddly put together, and the book itself was too think to really open well.
superficial and inaccurate March 5, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
This guide was bought in haste at a bookstore with little choice. It is poorly organized (a single area may have sights or amenities spread through several sections of the book) and inaccurate (pity the poor "fodor's choice bakery whose address is incorrect). Worse some key information is just plain wrong - hours or days of opening, for example. This makes for a travel nightmare. This is a very sloppy, lazily produced book.
Great restaurant recommendations December 19, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
We bought this for a trip to Hilton Head and ended up using it a couple months later for a spur-of-the-moment trip to Atlanta. I really enjoy good restaurants, and we had a great experience with every restaurant recommended by the guide. It definitely sold me on the Fodor's brand.
