Product Description
Readers captivated by Twilight and New Moon will eagerly devour Eclipse, the much anticipated third book in Stephenie Meyer's riveting vampire love saga. As Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge, Bella once again finds herself surrounded by danger. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob --- knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella has one more decision to make: life or death. But which is which?

4 out of 5 stars The saga continues...   July 26, 2008
Eclipse is the 3rd book in the Twilight series. Overall, I enjoyed this book, however I thought it was much slower than the previous two. Bella is weeks away from her high school graduation and is deciding about her immortality. Edward agrees that he will change her into a vampire, but there's a catch. Bella isn't thrilled when she learns what the condition is.

Jacob confesses his love for Bella and wants her to consider dating him instead of Edward. Jacob also informs Bella that she's in love with him too, which Bella quickly denies. Bella reminds him of her undying love for Edward and discloses her wish to become a vampire so she and Edward can be together forever.

While this love triangle is playing out, there are numerous killings in Seattle. The Cullens quickly realize it's a group of newborn vampires and find themselves teaming up with the werewolves to fight this new group. Combined with Victoria and the Volturi, this battle may be more dangerous than anyone thinks.

I'm still on the fence about Team Jacob or Team Edward, although I found myself leaning towards Jacob. Actually, I think Jacob is fortunate that he's not with Bella. I just don't like her. And, there's something "off" with her relationship with Edward (excluding the fact he is a vampire). They're too enmeshed. Anyway, having said that, I'm still looking forward to reading Breaking Dawn. Will Bella become a vampire? Will she give Edward what he wants? Will Jacob accept that Bella has chosen Edward? Stay tuned...

5 out of 5 stars Couldn't put it down   July 25, 2008
I love this series! I couldn't put the book down! I was trying to anticipate the next thing - Stephenie Meyer did not let me down. I cannot wait to read book 4. I even turned a few of my friends onto the series. Who said this series was just for "young adults". My friends and I have enjoyed this series and we are well above the "young" phase.

5 out of 5 stars Give me more Stephenie Meyer!!!   July 25, 2008
I am in love with this series- TOTALLY. I can't wait, one week to go for the release of Breaking Dawn. I can see her writing Bella's first year as a vampire, her marriage and so much more. Stephenie Meyer is an incredible writer who weaves an epic story with characters that you know so intimately. What more can I say?

5 out of 5 stars Awsome book!   July 25, 2008
This is an AWSOME book! It began a bit slow, but it was not long before I could not put it down! Now I have read all three and can't wait to get the 4th in the mail from Amazon! I love romance and Sci-fi and this series has them both. Now my husband is reading them too!

5 out of 5 stars Words Cannot Describe   July 25, 2008
When I went to the bookfair at my school, I was anxious to buy a new book to read, as always. This time, I wasn't exactly sure what to get. I asked my librarian, and she suggested Twilight [that was the only book out at the time.] Since reading Twilight and New Moon, I've never ceased to be enchanted by Eclipse. It's the kind of book that I read in a day or two, and go to bed, and the next day I start all over. I never get tired of it, and I don't ever think I could. Eclipse has everything that could interest someone in the literary department; romance, drama, action, mystery, fighting; it has it all! I would recommend this book, and the rest of the series, to you, and to all of my friends. And, believe it or not, you learn a lot too! I really think that Eclipse, tied along with Twilight and New Moon, is the best book I have ever read, and I've read over 1000!
