5 out of 5 stars Dream On   November 19, 2005
Dream On is about a girl named Ashley and her little sister. Her sister was hit by a drunken driver on the way to school and ended up in the hospital in critical condition. Ashley's boyfriend Miguel wants her to come to the camp that he is running. But she decides she's not going to go, because she would rather spend time with her sister and her family.

What I don't like about this book is that there are so many names. And they just jump from one story to another. And it confuses me a lot. And what I really love about this book is that they give so much detail. Like the littlest story will have so much detail. For Example when Ashley's little sister got hit by that car then told when she got hit and were she got hit. It's awesome!! For example Sarah wants to be on the cheerleading squad and she's afraid she might not make it on the squad this year.

I would recommend this book to anyone it is the best book. It can relate to any high school student (sort of). And yeah!!!

Dream On

This book is about a girl who is struggling to keep a boyfriend, making the cheerleading squad, and trying to keep her family under control because her sister is in the hospital. All in all though she finds a way to keep her life under control and keep her family under control with out going crazy. Her boyfriend is getting a little mad at her while her family is in the hospital with her sister because he never gets to spend time with her anymore, but he still loves her the way she is. Her boyfriend wants to her go with him to this place where he is going to help build a new park, but she is so concentrated on being there for her sister its like she doesn't have anymore time for her boyfriend.
I like this book because it was about cheerleading. I really didn't like it because it was back and forth with the other characters in the book and it was kind of difficult to understand which problems was happening to which characters. It affected me because it helps me understand what kind of problems teenagers go through when they are in school.
I would recommend this book to all the teenage girls who like cheerleading and dance.

4 out of 5 stars Dream On Review   April 24, 2004
Peter wants Jenna to help him with the summer camp for the Junior Explorers, but ever since Sarah's accident, she's been slipping away. Jenna, however, has Sarah's recovery and Peter and Melanie's kiss burned into her brain.

Ben decides to ask out his dream girl, Angela Maldonado. Here's the catch--she's Melanie's fellow cheerleader. The two do end up going to the movies, but just as friends.

Nicole tries to sum up her courage to ask Melanie to be her coach for the upcoming cheerleading tryouts.

This book was suspensful and definately a page turner. if you go for books about teens living through the ups and downs of life this is definately a book for you. i found myself saddened by Miguels loss and silently cheering for Nicole.

5 out of 5 stars Another Excellent Clearwater Crossing!   March 29, 2000

Once again, we get another great Clearwater Crossing book. This book is truly different from the rest in the series. The guys and gals are facing many issues. Nicole is trying out for cheerleading and wants Melanie to coach her, but Melanie's too busy investigating her mother's past. Ben's got a crush on Angela Maldonado - will he ask her out? And will Jenna and Peter's romance survive - or fizzle out? It's all in this book!
