A Great Way to Get Started June 27, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
The Everything Guitar Book, now completely re-done in this 2nd edition is a wonderful resource for any guitar student. Mr. Jackson has written an easy-to-use, fun-to-read guide for both beginner and intermediate students. Peppered throughout with pictures, music and TAB, students will find a wealth of information to sink their teeth into. The book concludes with important talks about guitars, buying them, and selecting a suitable teacher. It's a great book, one that you will enjoy working through, and coming back to months later. The audio CD is another great addition, and allows you to model your own performances after a professional. This book is a very complete and well-designed package. It's light years beyond what the first edition was (not authored by Jackson). As a fellow guitar teacher, I highly recommend it.
