Bold Enough to Start Their Own League October 6, 2005 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Sal Maiorana has captured the spirit(s) of the men who were shut out by the NFL as they sought to bring professional football to their cities.
"Rebel Leagues" always attract a unique group of owners, players, and fans, and the American Football League was one of the few that went on to join the establishment. It's important that fans know that it many times takes outside forces for such expansion to occur.
