Editorial Reviews:

Book Description
As the rebirth of the Brown's franchise unfolds in 1999, Cleveland's fans are taking time to relive the special moments and performances of past Browns teams. In Sports Publishing's new book, The Browns: Cleveland's Team, visitors of the "Dawg Pound" can reflect back on many of the most memorable victories that have been compiled by their gridiron heroes. From the Browns first-ever victory in 1946 and their first NFL championship in 1950 to the great teams led by Jim Brown in the 1960's and the exploits of the Kardiac Kids in the late 1970s and the early '80's, nearly all of the key moments of their first 40+ seasons are chronicled. Sketches of the 14 greatest Browns players, those who are members of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, are also included. Additionally, the author has developed a detialed timeline of all the milestone events in Browns history and an extensive statistics section.

Customer Reviews:

2 out of 5 stars Bad Grammar, Bad info, Bad book   October 28, 2002
2 out of 2 found this review helpful

This book is the epitome of what a sports book shouldn't be. Mythical stats are surrounded by poor grammar that's hard to read and follow. The highlight of the book is truly it's first chapter on the first game ever. Unfortunately, the book goes down from there.
