First published in 1993, when Seinfeld the sitcom was establishing itself as the funniest half-hour on television, this is a collection of Jerry's musings on everything from relationships to shushing in movie theatres. Observational comedy may have reached epidemic proportions recently, but Jerry Seinfeld was, and is, the master of his domain. "I will never understand why they cook on TV. I can't smell it. Can't eat it. Can't taste it. The end of the show they hold it up to the camera, 'Well, here it is. You can't have any. Thanks for watching. Goodbye.'" Classic Seinfeld. this is a book anyone can just pick up and read from any page and stop at any page. I am a teacher and sometimes I use the material in this book in my classes. My students love the jokes.

If people truly can be broken into two groups, those who like Seinfeld and those who don't would be a great start. If you are a Seinfeld fan, the only reason I can think of that you would not like this book is if you have seen his standup routine so many times that you just cannot bear it again. Even then, that might not be enough as I have seen every Seinfeld episode at least ten times and still watch amusingly.
Seinfeld presents all his original material in SeinLanguage and it is hilarious. I found further delight from imagining Jerry's voice and expression in my head as I read through his words which put this book over the top for me.
If you want to laugh your butt off, and Seinfeld's witty observations resonate with you, buy this book. You will be very glad you did.

This book was funny. Not laugh-out-loud funny, but definitely humorous. Some of the bits were a little out-of-date (for example, VCRs and cassettes aren't really the most common modes of media now), but I appreciated the lack of crude humor. Seinlanguage is a quick and humorous read.

Living in Asia I found myself involved with a beautiful girlfriend who was much too young for me, of legal age, but a little embarrassing, and too much like a daughter. This book was the only thing I could find to improve her English. This book is a lot better than Cosmo amd other women's magazines, with their monthly instructions on how a girl can be better in bed. Those were the only other things she was willing to read. I can only wonder if Jerry had young girls like her in mind when he wrote this book. Thanks Jerr! But she still dumped me for another guy.
