This is an excellent book for the physical therapist to use in understanding muscle function. It is clearly written and utilizes evidence throughout to make the points. Wonderful clinical insight is scattered throughout the text. I recommend this text to all of my PT students.
enlighten but not deeply scientificalyAugust 24, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Frank Lieber with his profound knowlege of the skeleton muscle could go a little more deep in subjects like structure and function of sarcoplasmatic reticulum its proteins CA2+ gates and close relation with T tubules. In the same way a better explanation and interaction of fiber cytoskeleton in the fiber would be appreciated. Pedro.
