Customer Reviews:

1 out of 5 stars Not a boat building plan.   August 27, 2008
This may be a step by step instruction on how to build this boat but you will need to purchase a set of plans or a kit to actually build one. Wish the description of this book had pointed that out before I purchased it.
I found little in it I could use without the plans.

5 out of 5 stars Great little boat!   August 5, 2003
I've not built this boat, but I have had the chance to row one. For such a small boat, it is very steady. According to the owner, it was very easy to build (his first), and completed his third this year, an 11' skiff and 12' sailing dinghy.
I have rowed a variety of inflatable rafts. I have felt they were reasonably steady and easy to row. The Nutshell Pram is far better! Now I plan to build one.
