Very Helpful August 25, 2008 Although this is not a good way to learn these basic knots (nothing beats being shown), it is a good way to remember and practice them. Being printed on plastic cards, it's also light, sturdy and waterproof. These should be standard issue for every outdoor enthusiast.
pro-knot August 17, 2008 quick and useful, like a refresher course with one look, great in the tackle box.
A good product for novices June 18, 2008 The Knot tying guide was purchased for some nieces who want to start doing more in their fishing. They have both found it helpful and their knots were tested under real conditions and survived. The product is compact and doubles as a ruler. The knots are explained simple enough for the kids. It is waterproof and will fit nicely in any small tackle box.
Easy-to-use Knot Cards! March 25, 2008 These cards are great to have in my pack. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, and all the cards are held together well. You can't go wrong with these.
Nice clear illustrations December 30, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is a handy little reference. It's about the size of a credit card, but twice as thick. Suitable for a wallet or pocket.
There are six cards, double-sided, and some two knots, for a total of 15 knots. The cards are fastened together, so there's no chance you'll lose one of them.
I'm just getting started learning knots, and I have tried a few of these. So far this has been a good help. This will be handy to have around. With practice, I'll have a few of these committed to memory.
