Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars Great for Old-Style bird hunters, Southerners, Black Powder   November 16, 1999
5 out of 7 found this review helpful

This book, by an old-South Whig newspaperman humorist, is entirely serious, and is the best extant work on bird [quail and duck] hunting in antebellum Alabama. Any Southern quail hunter will just love it.
