| Editorial Reviews:
Book Description In 1961, marine history was made when Dick Bertram introduced the Bertram 31. This all-fiberglass sportfisherman was based on a novel deep-vee hull design designed by C. Raymond Hunt and successfully raced by Dick Bertram in the early offshore powerboat races. Reaction to the boat was powerful, and the Bertram Yacht Company was founded. Since then, Bertram's sportfisherman have achieved worldwide recognition. Their story is told through hundreds of colorful photographs and insightful interviews with the people who stuck with Bertram through good times and bad. The Legend of Bertram is a powerful addition to any marine library.

Very intresting book! July 31, 2001 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
This book is written by the same man that made the Bertram 31. If you like boat or are just looking for a good intresting book, then pick this one up. It's not a novel but more of a documentary. I liked the way this book apporaches the world of boating. So aslong as you like boats this is the book for you.
