Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
If the Kids are United is the memoir of a pre-glory days Manchester United fan growing up a considerable way from Old Trafford. It gives an account of growing up in a once-thriving mining community in the wilderness years of Thatcher's Britain.

Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars This is a book all fans of United should read   September 22, 2000
This book is a tremendous book about a boy ( and man) wanting to get FA Cup final tickets his whole life. This is an uncensored biography about that and more. His writnig is not that of an average writer, but one of a established one. I cant tell you how much I enjoyed this book, so if you love soccer you have to read this book.
