5 out of 5 stars Mysterious and fun   September 9, 2008
I purchased this for my grandsons, aged 5 and 7. It is lovely having children/grandchildren to be the excuse for one's own sense of fun. So WE are all enjoying The Chronicles. I will be purchasing the rest of the books soon.

4 out of 5 stars Entertaining!   September 7, 2008
I bought this book as a companion to the Chronicles. I particularly enjoyed the surprises in the envelopes and fold-outs. A fun read!

4 out of 5 stars Another Hit!   August 16, 2008
This is the 6th Spiderwick purchase. As before she was thrilled! This line of fantasy is right up her "alley". The quality of the product is superb. I cannot profess to comprehend the depth of these fantastical creatures, but my little girl can introduce you to them all!

5 out of 5 stars A great book which makes reading a cool experience again   August 13, 2008
I won't spoil it, but i can say that this book went a long way to please the reader, who won't get bored quickly like with classic books. Reading this book is a bit challenging because it's more than book; many would say it's a book for children but i think anybody will have fun just flipping a few pages. Very good quality at a surprisingly low price..

5 out of 5 stars A delightful addition   August 12, 2008
My four-year old and I just loved this book. It's illustrated charmingly, and has lots of "stuff" that's fascinating to us both. Your Spiderwick library isn't complete without it.
