From the supplier: A report on crash compatibility released by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety which charts crash fatality data for the 3 categories of passenger cars and minivans, pickup trucks and utility vehicles, confirms that passengers in cars hit by large, heavy vehicles are more likely to be killed than passengers in the heavy ones but points out that the greater security gained in collisions is lost in single-vehicle accidents, where passengers in sport utility vehicles have a much higher risk of death because of the greater likelihood of rollover.
