Editorial Reviews:

Amazon.com Review
NFL stars past, present, and (maybe) future help children learn to count in NFL 1-2-3. One football (an official Wilson), two trophies (the Vince Lombardi and the Pete Rozelle), and three passers (Warren Moon, Doug Flutie, and Jeff George) take young sports fans all the way up the middle to ten runners. The sturdy board-book format ensures that kids will have plenty of time to fall in love with football--which is, of course, the idea. (Baby to preschool) --Sunny Delaney

Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Fun for avid NFL fan and the child as well   March 21, 2002

Glad the NFL decided to do toddler books. We have the series (5 to date)and it is enjoyable for me to read this to my 4 month old future fullback. He will get more use down the road when he learns to read. We love the fact that most NFL teams are represented. Individually this book is 5 stars. The only negative thing I have to say is there are picture overlaps between all 5 books in the series. You would think the NFL would have different pictures of a ref signaling a TD or the same goalposts in a stadium.

5 out of 5 stars If your child loves football   March 1, 2000

If your child loves football this is the counting book for you! My family loves football. My two year old son memorized this book very quickly. It has everything from real NFL stars in uniform to footballs, referees, cheerleaders, trophies. Any football book had my son's complete attention. My son now easily counts to 12 at 2 yrs old. I believe it is because we found books like this: colorful realistic pictures full of subject matter he was already totally into.I also recommend NFL Opposites another board book made by the same people and I'm waiting for NFL Colors and NFL Touch and Feel to come out in print soon.

This book is delightful. My husband and daughter love to read it over and over. The colorful pictures and cute content are appropriate for kids and enjoyed by the adults who read them.
