Book Description This guide is a necessary companion to the tons of Joshua Tree climbing guides you already own or are considering buying. Wasted climbing time searching for rock formations will no longer be a problem with the Coordinate Companion. It lists the coordinates along with the routes and pictures for hard to find and popular climbs. Simply enter the coordinates for a climb into your handheld GPS and follow the arrow. Stop searching for the climb, and start climbing it!

Can't Live without it!! November 15, 2005 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This companion is invaluable to me and my friends. We climb Joshua Tree once a month and it's funny, no matter how many times you've been there, you can still have trouble finding the best climbs. The common, obvious climbs are a little crowded during season so my friends and I just plug into our GPS the coordinates of an out of the way climb. Because we know exactly where we are going, we get there in no time and don't see a single soul for the entire day. Thanks coordinate compainion for returning my climbs to a spiritual, not a social experience!!
I Absolutely Rely on this Guide Now October 26, 2005 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I've climbed Joshua Tree With my friends several times before, but I bought this guide for our trip this October and we totally got into it, and picked some new climbs rather then the same old climbing areas. The guide is small and basically it just gives coordinates for all of the climbs. But you still need another guide because it doesn't give alot of information about the actual routes, really it's just for coordinates. Overall, worth the money - but don't forget to bring your other guide books on the trip
