4 out of 5 stars Fun for the whole family   September 7, 2008
I'm new to silicone products and I think these little cups are so cute and interesting. Most things come out really easy and kids love to pick a color when they are done. The cookbook is great! Easy to read, colorful and lots of interesting recipes. So far, we have tried the easy eggs, brownies, banana-chip muffins and the potato nests. We have altered several of the recipes since one of my children has an egg and dairy allergy and the results have been fine (for brownies, used egg replacer and doubled the flour). Some of the items have needed to cook longer than specified. We look forward to trying all the recipes!

My 5 year old son loves to cook, and he enjoys this cookbook. The book is a smaller size (good for little hands) and bright colored, with easy-to-follow instructions and lots of pictures. He especially likes smashing things into crumbs for crusts with his toy hammer. The brownies are excellent, not as overwhelmingly chocolatey as most recipes, and the tiny fruit tarts are also very good. The cups seem to be holding up well, although cleaning by hand is a pain (they are dishwasher safe, thankfully). Like any recipe, you have to adjust for your own kitchen, I find the times in the book don't really match my quirky oven, but that's more about my oven than the cookbook.
