Good Beginner Racket July 10, 2008 This racket is an excellent beginning racket, but I found that the touch needed to use this racket needed to be a little light. It is hard to control powerful forearms and serves with this racket, because I believe the racket's strings are a tad to tight. But I recommend this racket to anyone who is starting out looking for a cheap good racket.
NICE...! May 10, 2008 Firs things first.. I got a different racket, well, just the racket colors are different. I looked over the net and I found many Wilson Impact Rackets, and the one I got is not the one that is the picture, because my racket is kinda blue, not gray. It looks good on blue, and i have no complains, but pictures should be updated just to avoid further problems. Now, the racket itself it's awesome for a starter's racket. Very lightweight, and if you choose the right size then it's very comfortable too. It also seems quite durable. Ahhh, the grip is realy good too. In summary, very good racket for starters or just tennis enthusiast who play occasionally.
I LOVE IT! May 8, 2008 I am beginner, and i bought this racket for a tennis class, and i love it!.. Everything was Perfect, the size, the texture, the shipping was very fast.. Thanks A lot!
It's a good racket! May 4, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I have used a few different racquets lately, and I honestly couldn't tell you the difference between this $17 one with it's Volcanic Frame Technology and the $50 NANO CARBON racquets with the molecular matrix of high modulus graphite fibers and Nano-sized Silicon Dioxide crystals. I think VFT is very underrated in the marketplace. If you're looking for good bang for your buck I would not overlook this one. It comes in red, too, which was what I was actually looking for. (The VFT was sort of a bonus, in my eyes!)

Purchased two of these Wilson Impact rackets and I was very impressed with the quality vs price. Nice grips and strung very well, and the frames are done with precison.
