Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars Great Insights a little short   June 24, 2000

The insights presented were wonderful,- she comments on everything from the trials women face in the training environment to the differences in uniform sizing. I really did enjoy reading the book and was even more delighted to find a book on this subject. I gave this book 4 stars however because I felt the book was somewhat underwhelming, as a male Martial Arts instructor there are surely more ways to make my Martial Arts classroom more friendly to the Female student, which is why I purchased the book. I feel like surely the subject can warrant more than 120 pages of content (some of which were dominated by photos) I would recommend seeking this book out at a library first I finished it in a day (partly due to that small page count).
