5 out of 5 stars One Purchase This Decade!   July 9, 2008
If you only buy one motivational/personal success DVD this decade, PLEASE BUY THIS ONE! Andy is a master of bringing simplicity and ease to making your life better. He has truly found the inspiration to make my life complete and happy until the day I die.

5 out of 5 stars One of the best   June 12, 2008
After being shown this video at my job, I bought a copy for myself and liked it so much, I bought another copy for my step-dad. Andy Andrews really knows how to get to the heart of life and he makes it fun.

The Seven Decisions is based on Andy Andrew's fantastic book, THE TRAVELER'S GIFT, which is one of those rare books that actually has the potential to change lives. If you've not read Traveler's Gift, stop what you're doing right now and order it. I even added a product link to make it easier for you to find it.

I'm serious! Go now and order the book! Then come back here and order this DVD, but read the book first. You'll get more out of the DVD that way.

There may be others out there who are better speakers, perhaps more 'dynamic' than Andy Andrews, but this guy is just plain likeable. He's the guy you wish lived next door. Andy comes off as a true friend and a genuine, caring man, and his message is extraordinary. Make these seven decisions a part of your everyday life and you'll see dramatic changes.

Some reviewers might say there's really nothing new here, and to some degree they would be correct. When it gets down to it, there really only one way to live right and make good life choices. No matter who is telling it, the message is always, at least, similar in substance. The difference comes in the delivery, and this is where Andy Andrews stands out. He connects with the audience like few speakers can ever do.

P.S. Don't forget to order the book! Here >>> The Traveler's Gift: Seven Decisions that Determine Personal Success

5 out of 5 stars Joyful Useful Teacher   April 30, 2008
I cannot remember how Andy Andrews came on to my radar, but what a magnificent teacher. Andy's personal experiences with the Seven Decisions weave authentic value he discovered through taking actions and their results. The seven lessons are things we are `aware' of - however Andy's differential is his powerful use of history - linear details that amaze and his magnificent humor. You will laugh through learning points in his dramatic wonderful delivery. I have gifted "The Seven Decisions" to several people. Hope is a big gift in Andy Andrews work, it really gets a "10".

5 out of 5 stars If we lived by this and taught it to our children, we'd have a different world   March 20, 2008

Yes, Andy Andrews' "Seven Decisions" are really positive thinking repackaged in a way (see Napoleon Hill's Keys to Success: The 17 Principles of Personal Achievement, Norman Vincent Peale: Three Complete Books: The Power of Positive Thinking; The Positive Principle Today; Enthusiasm Makes the Difference) But sometimes the packaging is very important (do you drink your milk from a glass or out of the gallon jug?)

This book is written in parable form, with stories that are sure to reasonate with anyone reading them. The style is so easy to grasp, so readable that I could not put this book down for a second. The Seven Decisions are basically to be grateful, to be courageous, to act decisively and to search out wisdom in our lives, but this book makes a big impression. At least it did for me. I keep a little card with Andy's precepts in my wallet so I can take it out from time to time and remind myself why I do what I do, and how I am to do it.

I would strongly recommend this book for parents to read to children as bedtime stories and at the dinner table or during quiet-time. And this is a book you could pull off the shelf year after year and remind the whole family about the concepts, then discuss how each of you are implementing them in your life. This alone would be a huge source of discussion for family dinner time conversation, so much more than "what did you do in school today."

The philosophy is such that it would not offend Christian, Buddhist, Hindu, Jewish or Muslim believers and that is key. This can be used by any person of faith, no matter what the faith because the principles are universally true.

While it is true that positive thinking, gratitude, and seeking wisdom are themes for so many books available today, I found Andy Andrews' book one of the best to start with. Once you are convinced positive thinking and changing your outlook on life is the way to true happiness, then you will find other rich resources. But none, I think, are more pleasant to read and any deeper than this one.
