I bought this cd hoping that it would be an improvement over the other brands I've tried, and was not disappointed. The cd is actually fun to listen to, and I find the phrases sticking in my head after the first time through. I'll be buying the Spanish version for a family member. =)

I have been using this in the car for about a week and now have about 25 words down. I have tried 3 other CD learning methods and had no results.Trying for 5 years or so on and off. This actually works and it is fun. The man says the word he wants to learn and the Russian woman says it in Russian about 4 or 5 times different speeds. The man makes up little hints to help him remember words. They laugh and she tells him how good he is doing. Somehow the music in the background does push this into the brain better than words alone. I cannot wait for vol 2 to arrive. I'm feeding my piggy bank to be ready. Try it you will not be disappointed. It is really quite fun.

I have had the opportunity to use this product but a few days. Walking, driving etc. Already I am running the words, phrases and translations through my mind virtually without effort.
I have already purchased so many other programs in these past four years and even taken a Russian class. This without a doubt is the biggest leap I have taken in becoming knowledgeable and feeling comfortable with the language. I am feeling confident and already budgetting for Volume two.
