| Editorial Reviews:
Book Description The bible book of buttons is back in an updated and revised sixth edition. This is the best introduction to the world of buttons that has ever been written. Over 3,000 buttons, covering all periods, materials, and manufacturers, are pictured and identified, along with newly revised current market values for each button. Although comprehensive in scope, the book is never intimidating. Its encyclopedic format enables information to be quickly and easily found. Current market values make it the best guide to the market. This is the one book that experienced collectors have long considered indispensable, that new collectors must have.

Avid collector April 4, 2008 I found this book very informative and I learned a lot about buttons. I would have liked the pictures to be in color which would help me identify them. It will become my reference book.

It would have been great if the photos were in color, this is something that makes looking and finding the buttons so much easier. Having color photos adds a lot.
The Best for Button Terms and Information! July 22, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is the very best reference book available under $200. This updated issue is beautiful, includes price estimates of buttons featured, and is the reference book every Button Collector owns. (The only other MUST own button book is Big Book of Buttons, $200, IF you can find one at all.) My button club uses it for many of our meeting programs. "Most Excellent" book! Janice in Niwot

Good illustrations May 31, 2000 25 out of 27 found this review helpful
I like this book as there are many illustrations and after reading the book I had a deeper understanding of buttons. This is an informative book and I would encourage those who are interested in collecting buttons and those advance collecters to read it. Another book similiar to it and I would reccommend is Antique & Collectible Buttons : Identification and Values.
