Product Description Readers will enjoy transforming paper into delightful gifts and decorations, like pretty party tokens, whimsical yet useful boxes, love notes, garlands, and greetings of every kind. Some designs utilize origami techniques; others use the simple cut-fold-paste method. Paper will take unusual twists and turns that will create one-of-a-kind crafts to brighten any occasion. Although most of the projects are geared toward adults, some are suitable for parents and children to do together. Work space needed is minimal, and the projects are inexpensive to make--all they require is paper, some glue, and scissors. These three-dimensional designs are an easy way to perk up a room, decorate for a party, or make personal gifts. - Contains more than 75 easy-to-make projects - Color photos throughout clearly illustrate how the projects should be put together and how they accent a setting - Appeals to creative adults, parents, and teachers Sandra Lounsbury Foose is a freelance graphic designer and the author of seven books on crafts-related subjects, including The Scrap Saver's Stitchery, Scrap Saver's Christmas Stitchery, and 101 Great Gifts.

Papercrafters take note June 13, 2008 The projects in this book are both eye catching and easy. They are organized by season of the year and include baby booties, flower bowls, pie shaped box, bird houses, cottages, snowmen and many others. All projects are made from a variety of paper types and weights. The instructions are clear and easy to follow and have beautiful pictures of each project. If you can handle a craft knife and glue bottle, you should have no trouble.
Simply Super Paper: Over 50 Projects to Cut, Curl, Twist and Tease from Paper June 8, 2008 I own all of Sandra Foose Lounsbury's books and if she were to publish 100 more I would try my best to purchase all of them too. I particularly like her books because of the excellent photography, the clear directions and, last but not least, the templates for every project.
Love paper? You'll love this book! March 29, 2000 52 out of 52 found this review helpful
This book is fabulous. Not only does it have beautiful photographs with easy to follow, step-by-step instructions, but it also includes every single template needed for all the projects in the book! The materials used are easy to come by and don't cost an arm and a leg, and the projects range from very simple (shaped cards and fancy envelopes) to fairly involved (a 3-D Halloween witch and house-shaped boxes). If you like working with paper, the book is a must-have. The author is a graphic designer, and it shows in all her projects, which are sophisticated, fun, whimsical and inspiring.
