The book isnt everything we were looking for,it is fun and it does show you things to make but not enough. My son made a few things but some of the things in the book are not something you would make. He did say the frame was to long to make. He did make a wallet and he uses it. I just thought there would be more things in it.
Great for those crafty kids!! December 29, 2006 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
Duct Tape is cheap..and it's available in a wide array of colors now too. My daughter got this book from us for Christmas, along with about 5 rolls of tape that I bought separately. She LOVES this book. It has about 25 different crafts...including clothing, glasses, and hats you can make from tape. Great fun! She spent several hours making things.

Great for Teachers July 15, 2006 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
My high school students loved the design unit I taught based on the elements of design by creating accessories with duct tape. Written by a high school student who was also bitten by the duct tape bug, makes this book very relevant to teens. In fact, they got so involved they worked till the bell rang and had to hurry to their next class.
The projects are relatively simple and the instructions are easy to follow. There is a variety of projects from wallets and purses to can holders and a tie for her dad. This is a great starter book for the duct tape enthusiast. The price is very reasonable.
Who knows, maybe your teen will get hooked and win the Duck Tape Prom clothing scholarship.

A Must For Intrested Duct Tape Amateurs! March 22, 2006 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
When I first saw this book I was intrested in but compleately inadept with duct tape. This book gave me ideas, inspiration and instructions.
It really helped me get going, and I am now much better with duct tape and have even compleated several pieces of costume clothing!
Don't get me wrong, using duct tape and making it look nice take a lot of effort. Learning to make your duct tape creations look great will take a lot of patience and a lot of time you can dedicate to it until you get the hang of it you will have to make things over and over so they will look good.
If you are willing to spend the time (and duct tape) to make things it's a ton of fun and is definently worth the effort when you finish your first creation.
I'd recomend this book to ages 9 and up.
