Product Description Make it yours. This inspirational guide with DIY attitude has everything you need to know about the world’s great T-shirt: how to cut it, sew it, deconstruct it, reconstruct it, and best of all, transform it. • Features more than 100 projects (plus 200 variations) for customized tees, tank tops, tube tops, T-skirts—even handbags, a patchwork blanket, iPod cozies, leg warmers, and more. • Not a DIY expert? Not to worry. More than one third of the projects are no sew, meaning anyone who can wield a pair of scissors can put a personal stamp on her wardrobe. But the sewing basics are here too: backstitch and whipstitch, gather and ruche, applique and drawstrings. • And the mission statement for Generation T: Ask not what your T-shirt can do for you; ask what you can do for your T-shirt. And then Do-It-Yourself!

Love to live in my own style May 20, 2008 This is a wonderful book it helps to take old worn out drab tee shirts and turn them in to new and exciting designs that are tailored to your body. There is nothing more attractive then clothing that fits. It also helps take the scraps and turn them in to accessories so that nothing is wasted. If you are and Eco lover this book will be right up your ally. It is perfect for all ages and do it together projects for bonding. It is not just for females there is lots of male ideas also. leahunter
Love it,Love it,Love it May 19, 2008 My niece got one and showed me what she was doing with her old tee's, so I just couldn't wait to buy one of my own and start transforming old into new. Thank you for your wonderful ideas.
Worth the money. May 18, 2008 I've already altered enough t-shirts into being wearable and cute to more than pay for this book. Nothing too exciting in here, but great for a beginner like me. It also helps to start the creative juices flowing.
If you love customizing clothes you NEED this book! May 9, 2008 Absolutely amazing book with lots of cool things I never would have thought to make out of t-shirts like a wedding dress!! I'm in love.
Generation T-riffic! May 7, 2008 I really like this book because it is chock full of really fun ways to transform blah t-shirts into something unique. You really don't have to be an outstanding seamstress to do most of the projects either, which is great news for me. I hand-sewed one of the projects in about an hour and it looks fantastic. My mom was impressed anyhow.
